Megan Evans

Most of all my tattoos are rooted in all things spooky. I have a sleeve of all Halloween! Some things common but I’ve tried to make unique.

What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo was finishing up my sleeve. It’s all Halloween and tarot themed. I was born on Halloween and it’s always been my favorite obsession! I did part tarot and added some bats and pumpkins. I also did a tribute to my favorite poem “Beware of the Autumn People” by Ray Bradbury. It’s beautiful.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

I think your tattoos tell a story, even if unconnected and unintentionally. They tell you the stages of your life you’ve been through. And what was important to you at that point in life. They would say that you’ve come through something special but also some hurtful things and you’ve overcome those things. My tattoos show moments of love and loss and the special things in between.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would love to continue with my second sleeve with a beautiful tribute to my mother who I lost to lung cancer in 2022. She was the most beautiful and loving mom anyone could ever have. We loved movies! Ghostbusters being on was her last request oddly enough. So needless to say it’s very special to me, and my children aswell. I’d love to show her love for these movies and have something as beautiful as her!
