What inspired your most recent tattoo?

I wanted a tattoo since I was in my teens, but knew my taste would change and I could never think of anything that I wanted permanentLy so finally at age 59 it hit me…fondest memories of spending time with my grandmother. Her favorite time of the year was spring when the cherry blossoms bloomed at the Japanese tea garden, almost every weekend I spent w/ her we’d sit in the teahouse over the Koi pond looking out -beautiful koi swimming, the symbolisms the memories I nowhavethem fore

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

Quite simple, cherry blossoms, beauty, renewal, springtime, rebirth… the koi…strength, perseverance, determination with the flowing beauty everything my grandmother stood for and as I start my new life, it’s everything I am becoming!

What would you do with the $25,000?

I do something responsible ..I’ld get out of debt, continue to provide for the lost, unwanted animals I’ve taken in and help my daughter with her school loans so that she finishes school without a heavy burden & can start her life much more positive and productive than I have lived mine.
