My most recent tattoo was inspired by the resurrection of a phoenix. "In order to rise from its own ashes, a Phoenix first must burn." From living in a survival state of mind in my childhood to standing strong, on my own in life, was a huge transformation for me. The phoenix represents the person I was before, burning and leaving the earth with all traumatic memories from my childhood. I was reborn into the person I am today. Powerful and resilient.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?My tattoos have watched me grow. From my very first tattoo at 17 to my most recent at 24, I have made my body a masterpiece through trauma and hardships. I believe my tattoos would tell me, “I am extremely proud of this girl.”
What would you do with the $25,000?If I were to win the $25,000 for Ink Originals, I would first put my mother and brother in a house, in a safe environment. A place they could be comfortable in life. The second thing I would do is pay off all schooling and further my education in Wildlife Biology and Conservation. I have a deep passion to advance in my studies and pursue a career for myself that I will forever cherish.
