Learn MoreMy most recent tattoo is the purple bat on my left calf. It was inspired by the logo of my first half marathon I ran back in 2015. It was a milestone after of 5 years of growing effort to get healthy including quitting smoking, eating better, and of course running regularly. Watching my father deal with lung cancer, diabetes and heart problems inspired all of that and every tatto I have so far can be traced back to him.
If your ink could speak, what would it say? That I'm dedicated, hard working and generous. Both calf tattoos are for my running and thats the result of thousands of hours of training and years of work. Just between the half marathon and the marathon was 3 years and a few trips to the doctor. The small tattoo in the ditch of my arm is in memorial of my father. He's also why I donate blood like clockwork and the tattoo is there because that arm started developing scar tissue in the vein that made it difficult to donate blood.
What would you do with the $25,000?The responsible adult answer: pay down debts. The honest answer: finish my project motorcycle. I need several thousand in parts, paint, and mechanical work to have my vision of a motorcycle realized.
