What would you do with the $25,000?If I win this award, I’d use the money as a down payment on land or a home—my first real foundation for me and my six kids. We’ve come a long way without much help, and this would be our fresh start. My dream is bigger than just us, though. I want to build a safe space where women who’ve been through hard times like me can come heal—surrounded by love, peace, and the emotional comfort of animals.
