What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo, done in July just before I set out on a road trip across America, is a pig with pearls. It’s inspired by the biblical verse from Matthew, “Do not cast your pearls before swine.” It’s a personal reminder to protect my energy, value my worth, and not waste my time or gifts on people or situations that won’t appreciate them. It felt like getting before hitting the road—like a felt, especially a spiritual boundary etched into my skin before

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

“I am her story—etched in grace and grit.” Each piece is a memory, a lesson, a prayer. My pig in pearls whispers, “Protect your worth.” Born from a verse in Matthew and marked before a soul-searching road trip, it’s a symbol of strength, self-love, and sacred boundaries. My ink speaks softly—but carries every chapter of my journey.

What would you do with the $25,000?

As a single mom and aspiring doctoral student, I’d use the $25,000 to invest in my education, build a better future for my daughter, and lay the foundation for a nonprofit that uplifts women and families in crisis. This isn’t just about me—it’s about breaking cycles and creating lasting change.
