Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo is the mural I have on my back and the picture actually came to me in a dream. I’ve always wanted to tell a story with my ink and I’m a hopeless romantic so my search for love is what inspired my last piece. I want an old school love that just doesn’t seem to exist these days but hopefully through art I can keep that inspiration and determination alive.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

I get stopped on the street and people ask to take pictures of my back piece and my Selena portrait so I think it speaks beauty already. My style is black and grey realism with a touch of traditional and I think my ink is relatable and understandable. My ink also says to not be afraid of expressing myself and be true to who I am. I was adopted so by blood I’m white but was raised in a Hispanic household and that’s why I have so much pride because I often questioned my identity growin

What would you do with the $25,000?

I am a single mom who just graduated cosmetology school. I had to leave all my friends and family in California and moved to Las Vegas so that my mom could help me take care of my daughter while I worked and went to school.With the $25,000 I would take my mom and daughter on a well deserved vacation and use the rest to open a salon that helps make custom wigs for children with alopecia/cancer.
