Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

I added a tulip thanks to a local artist I have worked with at the beginning of February. This was a little reminder to stand tall and raise my voice over the injustices happening. Suffragettes would use purple Tulips to show support of the movement, if those brave souls before me could stand up, so will I.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

My pieces are a love letter to the art and style of tattooing. It's a reminder of the conversations I have had with the artists, and those little nuances that make their perspectives unique. They are a connection to the people around me, I never go anywhere in shorts where I don't get stopped by someone complimenting those floral pieces or liking my dog timeline. Just like a flower garden, my ink garden draws people in and makes you reach out for that human connection.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would continue to travel, especially overseas and get on more amazing artists books to continue to grow my collection to depths I didn't think possible. If someone says a place, I have an artist in the back of my mind I would like to get a piece from.
