Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo is the 2nd layer of my knuckle busters. It says “STAY GOLD’N” & I got it in memory of my ex & close friend who was murdered in a high profile crime. A woman was trying to run over her bf @ a grocery store & my ex was walking in crosswalk w/ his cane & she hit her bf then hit my ex who died. He meant the world to me & this was a favorite quote of ours and also a reminder that he is always in my heart.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

If my ink could speak it would say “These are my memories, my favorite things, my laughter and pain and my undreamt dreams. These are stories that keep me bound and these are words I can’t say aloud. This is my humor and also my tears - like everything else, they fade through the years.”

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would help my son and future daughter-in-law pay for the wedding they’ve been planning & dreaming of for 2 years now. They have had to put off because they can’t afford it. Her parents live paycheck to paycheck & barely get by. His Dad has 7 other children age 5 to 17 which makes money very tight for him & his family. My only wish is to be able to give my only child & his fiancée the wedding of their dreams.
