My most recent tattoo was inspired by the French equivalent of slang, called "verlan." After several years of living in France, my best friend and I wanted to get a tattoo to celebrate our time together in Paris. We couldn't think of anything more fitting than the word "quoi" (meaning: "what"), which you'll often find at the end of a sentence in French slang.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?In the end, I'd like to look back on my tattoos and have a reminder of each part of my life. I'd have some in honor of my family or my favorite musicians, some from my career and serious moments in my life, and even others that are just from drunk, beautiful moments with friends. Ideally, if memory starts to go, I'd have tattoos that could tell me all of the things that were once most important to me.
What would you do with the $25,000?I'm currently pursuing my Ph.D. in neuroscience, which was not my best financial decision (to say the least). If the funds are allowed to be directed towards anything, the $25,000 would immediately help pay off my student loans. Otherwise, it would go a tremendously long way for a graduate student (e.g., supporting bills, food expenses, clothing, etc).
