The last few years I battled with active addiction. I was in and out of jail, on the streets homeless, a victim of sexual and physical abuse, i had lost custody of my kids, and I couldn’t stay clean even though my life depended on it. My lotus flower represents my struggle and my resilience. Like the lotus, I was planted in mud, given a shit hand dealt by god, only to be transformed into a beautiful woman.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?If my ink could speak, it would tell some crazy stories! It would definitely speak of my struggles, but it would also tell a story of beauty and love.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would definitely get some more work done, start on covering some old work on my back. But I’d also surprise my son with a tattoo session. He’s only 15 but so was I when I first got inked. I think it’d be super cool because I feel like it would be a great way to bond.
