My Alice in Wonderland-themed sleeve is a deeply personal tribute to my resilience against life’s challenges that aimed to break me. Instead of succumbing, I discovered a strength within myself that I never knew existed. I confronted my unhealthy coping mechanism of dissociation with trauma head-on and embarked on a journey of healing. Each stroke of ink on the sleeve narrates a story of pain, struggle, and ultimately, triumph.

For the past two years, I have faced homelessness due to my disability and the financial strain caused by lupus. This period has been incredibly challenging and disheartening.
