My most recent tattoo is a Hannya mask done by Mike Rubendall on my right foot. I went to kings ave for my favorite tattoo and Mike is a fellow Long Islander like me. I love Japanese culture especially their tattoo culture because of its taboo history. So Mike being one of the bests at the style, it was a no brainer to get a piece done by him. The hannya is my favorite symbol in Japanese tattooing. I even wrote a paper about the Noh Theater masks for an art class in school.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?If my ink could speak it would say stuff about all the adventures and different things we’ve done in life. From enlisting in the Air Force, to working as a bartender in New York City to now pursuing a career in nursing. My ink would tell you all about the early morning runs, the late night cocktails and the many hours helping people in the hospital. My tattoos would also tell you how much they get complimented at my Jiu Jitsu gym haha
What would you do with the $25,000?If I won the $25,000 I’d spend some of it adding to my sleeve, and the rest would easily go to paying for my nursing school right now. I’m halfway through and any amount of money would be an incredible assistance with tuition and book costs
