My most recent piece is a broken clock, so I left it up to my artist and he had the vision for the broken clock. I think for me it means that our lives are driven by time, so to live every day to the fullest, and to never think you’re too old or that it’s too late to accomplish any of your dreams. It also symbolizes a health change I had to make about 10 years ago which in turn has made me feel better than I ever have. So a broken clock was perfect. Time does not define us.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?My ink would tell you the story of my life and the strength it took to overcome the obstacles I’ve faced. It would tell you about my 3 beautiful daughters, a little about love, and a lot about resilience, endurance, and perseverance.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I were to win the money I would use it as a down payment on a house. My girls and I have had 3 homes taken from us because of poor choices from other people. Even though my girls are almost grown and gone, I want to have a home that will always be there for them for the rest of their lives. It would be an even bigger dream to have it on a couple of acres.
