Some silly, some more moody and serious. My art uses nature and symbolism to depict the beauty and ugliness of the human experience.

Enter For FreeMy right leg- although nowhere close to being done!- I've dedicated to depicting my own story and some of the hardships I've endured. My newest piece, however, represents renewal, innocence, and a chance to start again. I chose to add a very detailed and delicate looking cherub among my other pieces to act as a reminder that there is goodness everywhere- that although the human experience can be quite ugly at times, there is always hope to make something beautiful of it all.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?If my ink could speak it would remind the beholder of their connection with the natural world. It would tell you to be kind- not only to yourself and to others around you, but to all the other beautiful and fascinating creatures that we share the earth with. It would tell you to make the most of every experience- even the bad ones.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I were to be selected, I would use the $25,000 to continue my education. I had to take a break from my educational pursuits, but I would love to pick up where I left off. I would also get another tattoo, or two- of course!
