I always wanted a phoenix tattoo, and had an opportunity to get tattooed by an amazing studio. I've had some high highs and some low lows in my life, and I love that the phoenix represents rebirth and rising out of the ashes. Even at my lowest, I was always able to dig myself out of it, whether it was from time or support and encouragement of loved ones. The image itself is inspired by a character I had designed for a story I had started to write about a domestic violence survivor.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?Rise and fight. Let every breath you take burn away that which keeps you crumpled on the ground.
What would you do with the $25,000?Put it into savings, or towards the house. I never had a substantial savings in my life, money always ended up having to go pay for things. I'd love to have a safety net in case of emergency.
