What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo was with my so called best friend of 30 years, we got it for our 20 year anniversary of friendship.now she is currently engaged to my soon to be ex husband. We are still undergoing a nasty divorce. I want to forget her and him, as he abused me for years and she knew about it and still pursued him. I am super thankful he is not my problem anymore, she can have him. But every time I look at my arm it reminds me of how I got so manipulated and used.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

I want it to represent new beginnings, something tied in with just beating a brain aneurysm ( major brain surgery I had 10 months ago) so something with the burgundy ribbon, something to represent strength and over coming the brain aneurysm and getting out a very abusive marriage all in 2024. A piece that I can look at and it will remind me how strong I am when I feel like giving up. I want my piece to say never give up , we can always make things better. There is nothing I can’t do!

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would help my father who is a vet of 25 years in the navy who is 85 get into a nice retirement home. My father has taught me to be a strong woman and has pushed me to always be a better person. Being a nurse for 25 year's, it is hard to see him struggle in his own apartment and he is to proud to live with me. So I want his last years to be comfortable. He spent half his life defending our country and now my son is following in his footsteps.
