What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My latest tattoo was inspired by my favorite view growing up in the Dominican Republic—a street where the blue ocean splashes against the rocks, framed by tall coconut trees. I used to love driving past it; it always made me feel calm and connected to home. That view stayed with me, and now it’s part of me forever. The tattoo captures the movement of the waves and the tropical vibe that reminds me of where I’m from and the beauty I grew up with.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

If my tattoos could speak, they wouldn’t just talk—they’d sing. Some would sing smooth, soulful bachata, telling stories of love, roots, and passion. Others would turn up the volume with gritty rock, shouting out my strength, struggles, and bold moments. Each tattoo has its own rhythm, its own voice, blending the sounds of my journey into a song that’s entirely mine. Together, they create a soundtrack of who I am and where I’ve been.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000, I’d finally be able to catch up on my bills and take a deep breath. I wouldn’t have to stress about choosing between food for myself or my cats, or constantly worry if I’ll make rent. It would give me the space to just stay afloat, to rest a little without the constant weight of survival pressing down. That kind of relief of just knowing I’m okay for a while would mean everything right now.
