My chest tattoo tells the story of my mother. She painted me lilies when she was in rehab when I was about eleven years old.

Learn MoreMy most recent tattoo is actually unfinished, it’s the flowers on my right hand. I find nature to be soothing in the process of healing, and that’s why I picked flowers.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?Honestly, it would speak words of trauma and grief. I have been through a lot and my tattoos speak for me. The growth I have endured and the healing I have experienced. The peace I choose to spread and the kindness I share.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would help my mother get back on her feet. She has been drug free for about 10 years but she is struggling in a marriage that no longer serves her and in a place that isn’t safe for her health. I will do anything I can to help my mother, as she has done the same for me even when she has had nothing.
