Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo is the first in a three-part series inspired by space-time. After unexpectedly losing my brother in 2013, I began to see time differently—chaotic, nonlinear, unpredictable. This piece reflects that shift: abstract and sculptural, it’s a way of making peace with the unknown, honoring the beauty in disorder, and holding space for the memories that time can’t erase.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

I whisper that time doesn’t move in straight lines—it loops, bends, and breaks. I’m here to remind you he’s still with you, in the spaces between seconds, in the quiet moments you remember. I’m the shape of your grief and your strength, a map of what you’ve lost and still carry. I don’t heal the pain, but I keep it from fading. In the chaos, I hold the meaning you refuse to let go.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I’d be able to finish my sleeve in progress, along with starting several other pieces! I’d also treat myself to some travel, good food, and a really fancy haircut at one of those places pours you scotch. And of course, I’d save a bit for the “just in case” moments… because if life has taught me anything, it’s that time is unpredictable—and so are medical bills.
