Hi! I’m Rachel Wentzel 😎 Currently 48 years old, from Sioux Falls SD, self employed & almost “completely” tatted! We call it my “bodysuit!”
Want to learn more about this competition?
Learn MoreThe most recent/finished tattoo would be my left leg. The inspiration includes verses from Amazing Grace, which was one of my dads favorite songs (he passed away in 2010), along with a large Native American headdress, buffalo skull & tribal bird (they represent SD, the beautiful Mt Rushmore state!) and many smaller pieces including tarot cards (more on other parts of body), hidden symbols/sayings & free hand flowers/leaves/shading to complete it!
If your ink could speak, what would it say?DAMN! That’s the first word that comes to mind when friends, family & random strangers comment on them! Each piece/part of my “bodysuit” speaks differently…some represent personal milestones in life, while others show tragedies or inspiration. When I started this project, my hope is/was that they would ALL be unique, YET somehow be “tied together!” I’d like to think they EACH speak “harmony!”
What would you do with the $25,000?This is a difficult question! First & foremost I would surprise my tattoo artist(s) with a “bonus” for all the hard work & hours they’ve put into them. Also, give a % to a FAB local nonprofit! Then, reward my amazing hubby & adult kiddos w/ a “bucket list vacation” to show them how “RAD I think THEY are!” Last, like most households, the random bills (UGH!) - I’d pay them off, and SAVE the rest for ?!?! (tats, wink!)
