Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

The lotus on my shoulder represents the cycle of my character development and how I view true authenticity. Lotus's are born in the dark, under the mud and dirt where no one wants to go in order to thrive. Not until they reach the top and open up is where they are perceived as worthy. If you're not willing to go through the hardest, deepest, darkest parts of growth then you never fully experience the mental satisfaction of reaching your own pinnacle.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

Do not fear the art of beginning again, no matter the weight you carry. Change will come, as sure as the tide, so shine softly, stay true, for even in your storm, you may be the light that guides another home. Also let it be known: your scars speak of survival, not surrender. When it comes to family whether blood, bond, or chosen, they are the constant in life’s chaos.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest it in my own company so l can finally see it grow and thrive so I can fulfill my entrepreneurial aspirations. This would help me ensure the promises I have made to support certain family members and my own future family.
