To cover up a scar left by ex was a therapeutic way to put my past behind me. I look at it and remind myself that no matter how hard life gets, I made it out alive and I didn’t give up. I kept fighting and proved to myself that I deserved to live and do better for myself!
If your ink could speak, what would it say?It would congratulate me for overpowering my abuser and becoming a bad ass trauma ICU nurse that never gave up! It’s a reminder to never let anything or anyone break my spirit.
