No deep story—just a piece of art I fell in love with, inspired by my love for Japanese and Asian culture.

Enter For FreeMy most recent tattoo that I have is a Foo Dog. It’s traditionally a symbol of protection, strength, and guardianship in Chinese culture. I was inspired by its powerful meaning because it represents keeping away negative energy and protecting what’s important to me, including family and personal peace. I also love how it combines bold design with deep cultural significance.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?If my tattoos could speak, they’d say, “You carry honor, strength, and balance in every step.” The geisha and cherry blossoms reflect grace and the fleeting beauty of life. The samurai, tiger, and Foo Dog represent courage, loyalty, and protection. The dragon with flames shows power and transformation, while the kanji anchors it all in deeper meaning. Together, they’d remind me: stay disciplined, stay grounded, and never forget the warrior within.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I won the $25,000 from Inked Magazine, I’d use it to support my growing family and give my child the best start possible. I’d also invest in my clothing brand—something I’ve poured my heart into—as a way to express myself and create a legacy I can be proud of. Every tattoo I have tells part of my story, and this opportunity would help me keep writing it, not just in ink, but in real life.
