That’s really a questions for the artist. The majority of tattoos I have, including the most recent, come from the artists portfolio. My favorite thing to do is find an artists with a body of work that is undeniably their own and original, see what they’ve recently drawn or would be interested in tattooing, then I pick my favorite and let them do what they do best. So the answer really is my tattoo inspiration comes from the artists.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?My tattoos have always made me feel more like myself. Growing up I never felt secure or confident in my own skin, and I never liked attention or people looking at me. In my adult life as I’ve started getting tattoos I’ve started feeling more and more comfortable with myself. So, if they said anything it would be something like “I love my body, and come look at all this sick art I have on it”
What would you do with the $25,000?Wouldn’t we all get more tattoos? Lol. Realistically living in Brooklyn there are at least a dozen artists I’ve been saving space on my body for. So if I’m being real, I’d be at least a little responsible and pay off some student debt, take my niece and nephew to Disney for the first time, and……get more tattoos.
