I love getting tattoos in the cities I visit all over the world. I was in Mexico City and wanted a local artist to do a piece, we created an amazing snake on my leg. Very happy with it.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?It would showcase pieces of my personality. The wise, the serious, the fun, the sexy. My first tattoo was in NYC when tattoos were illegal and I had to sneak out of the artists apt. He was paranoid he would get in trouble. It was a tattoo on my ankle. My friends turned me onto it. It was subversive at the time and very exciting. Now tattooing is a global phenomenon with regular folks getting inked. So nice to see it evolve and become more accessible as an art form.
What would you do with the $25,000?Thats a great question, I would travel to amazing places and get more tattoos. I would meet more artists. I would help my daughter who wants to be a tattoo artist and is tattooing now.
