Growing up Mormon, there were a lot of messages about your body and what you couldn’t do with it. My ink says my body is mine and beautiful.

Enter For FreeI’m a Trans man and I have a Harry Potter tattoo. I’ve been inspired to cover it up. Need I say more? My partner’s Dad passed when she was only 10, so I immediately knew I needed a tattoo for him to cover the old ink with. He used to call their childhood van the “Black Mamba,” so now a black mamba snake will be able to hold her when we get married. I want her to get to have her Daddy-daughter dance.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?My body is mine. I have a right to exist. To eat what I want to eat, wear what I want to wear, and paint my skin in tattoos. My ink shows the history of my own journey and Native ancestry. It speaks of my love for my family. It contemplates death and a life well lived (I have a lot of skulls). It says this canvas is mine. That is not up for debate.
What would you do with the $25,000?In THIS economy? I would marry the woman of my dreams and build her a farm. I would also love to launch a tattoo specific online platform to help unify and preserve the tattooing industry.
