Quarter-Finalist

Richann Hunsicker

It’s awful 😞 I need a cover up. It was supposed to be Angel wings for my father-in-law who passed away and this is what I ended up with.

What inspired your most recent tattoo?

I haven’t gotten a tattoo in years because after the tattoo on my back was done I was so upset because the person who did it had done my sister’s tattoos and did a beautiful job. I wanted to cry. The tattoo was supposed to be angel wings with the Bible verse psalms 23:5 which represented my cup runnethover. It was a tribute to my father-in-law who had passed away in 2009. What I ended up with was what I referred to as a muddy mess.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

If my ink had been done properly, it would say that my angel is in heaven, my father-in-law. The Bible verse 23:5 is my cup runneth over, to remind me of the blessings I’ve received in my life which are more than I could count.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Put a substantial down payment on a ranch home and put $5000.00 aside to continue my work with the homeless who actually living outdoors. I’ve been working with them since August 2024 providing supplies and meals out of the back of my pickup truck. I love what I do. I have so much more to tell but that’s the just of it.
