My ink tells the story of queer becoming: beyond the binary, across transition, a map of inspiration, survival, and radical self-ownership.

Enter For FreeMy most recent tattoo, like most of my recent ones, was inspired by artists I love who also love my work. I handmake stainless steel chainmail jewelry, and because it’s high-quality and custom, I often trade pieces with artists I admire. I love bartering, I love trading, and I love skirting capitalism at every opportunity as a thriving artist.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?My ink would say: I’ve loved deeply, I’ve hurt, I’ve grown, and I’ve built a life rooted in connection. I carry art from breakups, from children I’ve helped raise, from artists I admire. I wear flash as a tribute, and face tattoos as defiance. My tattoos prove that being real, being visible, and breaking the rules can still earn you trust, love, and success.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I win the $25,000, I’d invest a portion (maybe half) to build a small foundation for the family I want one day. I’d also set aside some for my community ie. whether it’s helping trans folks with surgery funds, supporting marginalized people with rent, or just lending a hand where needed. I don’t think of big personal purchases, but I’d always want something available to help others when they need it most.
