Enter For FreeMy long time friend & tattoo artist Kwan Poole (IG @tattedfatsax working out of Effum in BR,LA) whom came up with my sleeve artwork, designed my right arm sleeve to represent my 2 youngest children: dragon for my son Drake, & mystical Phoenix for my youngest child, because I thought I was finished having babies, and that last one burst forth from the ashes of my reproductive system at 38! LOL. The two siblings peacefully coexist on my right arm...hopefully soon shall life imitate art.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?I may be 52 yrs of age, but I'm forever young @heart. Was a soldier from 17-39, so much ink was acquired later in life. I (my artwork) am deeply philosophical, artistic, wildly vibrant, beautiful, joyous, altruistic, loving, compassionate, powerful, strong, resilient, courageous & unafraid to express & be myself! I love to learn & express deeper meanings in artistic ways that inspire conversations w/strangers. I seek out opportunities to be an instrument of education & compassion
What would you do with the $25,000?Most importantly, I would use it to enroll into grad school to get my doctorate as a Nurse Practitioner & specialize in homeopathic medicine, & work w/fellow Veterans & civilians healing PTSD. Meet some medical needs. Put some $ aside for a vacation, & invest for my kids. Repair / replace my broken flow arts props (Poi & Staff). I enjoy working w/underserved & overlooked populations. Setting up a program to help Veterans w/PTSD & their loved ones is a long time dream
