Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

I got three tattoos last year at 58, after retiring from the Navy and law enforcement without ever getting ink. My first tat, a bio-mech design, was inspired by comments about my robotic voice on the radio. After undergoing brain surgery and 3 neck surgeries, I ended up with titanium parts, earning the nickname "Smikey 5000." If your ink could speak, what would it say?

I decided to get my tattoo as a personal tribute to my son, a lasting reminder of him in my life. This ink also symbolizes the maturity I have finally embraced. Additionally, my two Boxers, each with their unique personalities, bring joy and warmth to my days, making them my best buddies along side my wife who is on this ink journey with me.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I already have 2 shoulder and 1 back piece planned. That probably will eat up 25k. My ink artists are phenomenal with what they do and worth every penny. Iron Will Tattoos, Eustis, Florida.
