Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My childhood love of DC comics. I was an adopted only child and spent a lot of my time alone, which is where Cartoon Network caught my eye with Batman and HQ and The Joker. The dark fantasy has continued to be a love of mine. My most recent is a mix between OG HQ and Joker and the Suicide Squad. I intend on a full DC leg sleeve when I’m done.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

It would say that life isn’t always easy or fair, but it’s worth it. My favorite tattoo is a Bob Marley Quote “You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have”. I got this quote shortly after my dad suddenly died when I was a teen. I also have a cross on my ribs for my father which was my first tattoo. I feel like my ink speaks to who I am. I am fiercely loyal to my family and a little crazy sometimes.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use it to buy a home with my family. I met my husband in 2018 at 21 years old. He has four children from his previous marriage I immediately fell in love with. We have been together ever since, but as the kids get older the rentals we can afford seem smaller and smaller. We need space for our now starting to become teen children, and to get out of the city and to somewhere they have space to roam and run along with our dogs.
