Rosie Martinez

My two oldest daughters and I got a pink ribbon tattoo for me because I went through breast cancer but the pink bled out. I’m a survivor.

What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My only tattoo was inspired by myself having been diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. I went through many rounds of chemo before and after surgery. I had reconstructed surgery and was supposed to have Areola's tattooed but I never did get them done. I would love to get something cool done on my breast area because I am very insecure about them, not only because my nipples and areolas were removed but because two men that I dated said things to me that made me feel bad about myself.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

My one tattoo would say that victory is mine and I am living proof that as long as you have the will to live, you have the strength and power to overcome anything life throws your way.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would love to start an online business so that I can become financially independent and leave the 9 to find grind. I would also purchase a small car to get myself around.
