Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

The forest on my arm represents where I’ve planted roots—Canada. But those trees also echo the landscapes of my childhood in Italy. It’s a symbol of dual identity: the strength to grow anywhere, and the reminder that no matter how far I go, my roots run deep. It’s not just nature—it’s home in two forms.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

My ink would tell you about the soul I’ve left in every country I’ve lived in—Italy, China, England, France, Mexico, and Canada. Each tattoo is a piece of those cultures, a mark of the experiences and lessons that have shaped me. They make me who I am—a blend of traditions, flavors, and stories from around the world. Like tattoos, life is about enduring pain to create something beautiful. Every line is a testament to perseverance and growth.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I try to live by Dana—the Buddhist principle of generosity. I’d donate a good portion to UNICEF, supporting children who need it most. The rest would fuel a dream I’ve had for years: a motorcycle trip across Canada and the U.S., exploring, creating, and sharing stories. For me, money is just energy—it should move, help, and inspire.
