What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent tattoo was the first Friday the 13th tattoo I’ve ever gotten. It was my artists own unique flash that she made. The theme of her flash pieces was “breakfast foods”. I immediately gravitated to the pieces because I wanted to get my boyfriend a tattoo for Christmas. A big part of our relationship is enjoying different coffee and pastries, so he got a coffee bean and I got a croissant.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

We tell a story that may not be immediately understood. If you take the time to investigate the origins and story of each piece or picture you can start to get closer to understanding the surreal journey of the ineffably beautiful human we are indelibly etched onto.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Well I am a trauma therapist and I am just starting my own private practice. I learned that I have really expensive taste in furniture lol. So this money could help me get my new business up and running, since I only have like a few grand in savings right now. Also some of my tattoos from when I was younger were done on couches and in motel rooms by people who didn’t know what they were doing. So I have some pieces I’d really love to rework to reflect who I am now.
