I called my German shepherd “Junebug,” so I wanted a tattoo to honor her. My artist, Josh Stephens, creates beautiful seraphims, and we blended her spirit with a Junebug design. It’s on the same hand where I lost part of my finger breaking up a fight between her and our other dog. She was loyal and protective—and in a twist of fate, that injury led me to discover a serious infection that could’ve cost me my life.
