Enter For FreeMy most recent, an afro genie, is inspired by how much I loved fantasy as a kid but never read or seen characters described like me. I use my left arm as a "coloring book" for afro fantasy characters. Not seeing myself really messed with my self confidence as a youth. I even wrapped my face in a scarf when going out on the bad days. It didn't seem like the world thought brown people were strong enough to be heros/heroines, or beautiful enough to be magical. I think we're pretty magical
If your ink could speak, what would it say?We measure up - look how we've grown.
What would you do with the $25,000?Invest in the house I bought when I was 19, help my family out of debt, maybe finally get to take a vacation and see something beyond this side of the states.
