If your ink could speak, what would it say?My ink would tell my story. It’s a medium in which I can show other who I really am deep down. I got as far as now, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t hard, so with my ink it would tell me to keep going everyday. It represents my pain and heartache but also my perseverance. With my ink I think it would help me to stop self harm, while also keeping to who I am because it’s a part of me.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I won the $25,000, I would save a lot of it to pay off my student loans in the future (I’m still a student). I would love to be able to buy the materials I need to start making my own clothes and maybe even one day for other people. What I really strive for is to inspire my peers, elders, and new generations. I want people to be able to express themselves freely and I feel like I could encourage that through my art. I have big dreams and with $25,000, it could help me get started.
