Cecropia moth represents rebirth and wisdom. A dagger to represent resilience and warrior traits. Soon adding lavender and violets.

What inspired your most recent tattoo?

This tattoo is my first as I have always wanted to get tattoos all over. I am from Michigan and the Cecropia moth is one of the largest moth breeds. Moths and butterflies fascinate me and I am a plant and nature lover all the way around. In my adolescent years I struggled with self harming and I have planned for a while to get inked as soon as I could. The lavender and violets represent one of my favorite scents and the violets represent my grandmother, whose name was Violet.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

"throughout life, we have been harmed and we have done harm. Still striving to move forward in a better way, to surround ourselves with love, and beauty. To grow, learn from the past, appreciate the present, and have faith in what the future holds.

What would you do with the $25,000?

To start I would put down to get my small family out of the rent trap and annual price increases. I would donate to research in chronic illnesses and inflammatory diseases. I would also donate to Greenpeace, and to War child organization. Our planet needs way more people who care and more activity in these areas to do better. I would also invest in the furthering of myself and my families education.
