My mother passed away at 42 years old. She was my best friend. There is a video of her saving a butterfly from drowning. You see me pass it off my finger to her. She was a huge elephant lover. So I have 2 elephants passing a butterfly off to eachother. To illustrate the video. Along with a lion. We were both Leo’s.. she called me her little Leo. I also have the sunrise I saw over the mountains the morning I watched her take her last breaths.. with her hand holding wilted flowers.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?Even though death stings. There are so many beautiful things that we shared. There’s life still there. I feel that and I always want to feel that. She lives within me. And always will! Like she said “be alive little butterfly, you can do it, you can fight it!!” With pain.. there also comes a lot of beauty. The vibrancy of life will NEVER DIE!!
