My brother’s passing in 2013 was tragic and sudden. Much like my husbands death. Older now and with a promising new tattoo artist who happens to be our cousin I went to him with an idea to ink my brother in my life forever. It’s not finished as I have more of his story to tell with a tattoo idea he wanted on his calf that was never realized. My brother (the rose) who served in the navy (the anchor) died from complications of Crohns Disease (the rope). He was pronounced dead at 2pm (the time on the clock has stopped forever). My very first tattoo speaks loudly of dumb youth decision to let someone practice on me. But it was something my husband and I did together shortly after our son was born and a year before he died suddenly. I wish I could find someone to do that poor thing justice and make it something to pay tribute his life.

Complete the build on our my families food truck. I remarried 5 years after my first husband passed. We spent 15 years of our 20 year marriage married to the Army. Fifteen years in, three deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. He took care of protecting us and our country. Now he is working to make my dream to own a food truck an actual reality. We have been in business almost 5 years working at events under a tent and we are so close to finally being able to fulfill this dream together.
