My sister! She’s the whole reason behind my Florida alligator piece. I purposefully had it done on my right leg with the jaws of the gator above my right knee cap. I chose this because my sister is the strongest person I know, my right knee is the strongest part of my body, and her bite is just as strong and deadly.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?If my ink could speak, it would weave beautiful worlds out of the darkest places. My ink gave me the courage to live unabashedly as myself without further fear of judgement or misunderstanding. My ink would tell you there is so much more to me than first glance, that we aren’t all that different you and I. My ink would tell you that I come chock full of exhilarating, abhorrent, and terrifyingly wonderful experiences. My ink would tell you that I am alive.
What would you do with the $25,000?Last year I almost died. Never thought invasive soft tissue necrotizing MRSA would be on my bingo card for February ‘24, but there I was. We all know hospital bills are expensive, especially when you’re admitted indefinitely. Healing hasn’t come quickly or easily, but nothing worth having ever does. The opportunity to repay my family for their financial sacrifices while I was fully incapacitated and complete my tattoo journey would be an honest dream come true.
