I may not wear a uniform, but I’ve dedicated my life to serving those who do—our Military and First Responders. Proverbs 24:11 and Isaiah 6:8 are more than ink; they’re my daily mission. One reminds me to fight for those in danger, and the other, to always say ‘Send me’ when others need help. These verses embody the calling I’ve accepted: to honor sacrifice, offer hope, and stand in the gap for America’s Heroes.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

My ink would say: ‘Stand ready. Be the light in someone’s darkest hour. Fight for the forgotten and never turn away from those in need. You were not called to be silent—you were called to serve, to speak up, and to show up. This mission is bigger than you, but it starts with you. So rise, answer the call, and never forget why you began.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Just like the Heroes I serve, I know the importance of being ready. With $25,000, I would create a safety net for my mom and me—a foundation of security so we can continue to stand strong for others. We’ve spent our lives answering the call for those in crisis; now it’s time to make sure we’re prepared for our own storms. Because even those who serve behind the scenes need a moment to feel safe, steady, and seen.
