Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

Upon graduation from my leadership training, I was taking a mindful walk with no cell phone in Los Angeles using all my senses. With only a $100 rolled up in my sock, I saw a parlor that spoke to me. Talked to the artist and negotiated a lighthouse outline on the spot. This represents leadership to me. Being a beacon of presence in the community.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

LIFE’s a BEACH. A place where the sun & sky meets the surf & sand. Sometimes the waves are rough, sometimes they’re smooth, but even when there’s chop it’s always breathtakingly beautiful. At my core I am salt and sunshine, with water coursing through me and sand forever between my toes.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would finally launch my professional coaching practice! Upon completion of a mindfulness based breathwork curriculum I’d open up a limited window inviting my first cohort of graduates on an adventure retreat with an optional skydiving & scuba dive experience at a blue hole in the Bahamas. This would be the foundation of my first social campaign.
