Enter For FreeMy father. He was the best man I've ever known, overcoming nearly every hurdle thrown at him and despite plenty of reasons to be jaded, he chose to go through life with grace and love. We lost him a few years ago to cancer, pneumonia, and a heart attack (not one thing could take him out. It had to be all three). My dad taught me to be strong, gentle, resilient, and probably more ambitious than I ought to be. The writing on my arm is a quote in my dad's handwriting so I never forget his words.
If your ink could speak, what would it say?No matter your lows, mistakes, failures, trials, or tribulations, your only limitations are the ones you let stop you. No one else can define your worth but you and we are with you forever to remind you of exactly that point.
What would you do with the $25,000?I am retiring from Active Duty in a year, so I would take the money and pay down some of my debt and invest the rest in starting my own businesses. (And maybe take a small bit for some more ink!) I'm hoping to expand my art business, write a few books, and start a mentoring business to use the things my dad has taught me as well as what I've learned from 20 years in the military to help others. It would literally be life changing for me!
