Honestly, my ink doesn’t tell a story and that’s what I love about it. It’s art for art sake. Curated collaboration by the artists & myself.

Enter For FreeSo, I’ve started seeking out some more famous tattoo artists to do individual pieces in the last year. My most recent is from jooa_tattoo on IG. She does micro realism chrome and all her work is breathtaking. It was inspired by my first trip overseas. I had a 23 hour layover in Istanbul and it was the most incredible experience. Everywhere you walk there are shops with spices and mosaic lamps hanging from the ceiling. The piece is the artist’s interpretation of a Turkish mosaic lamp
If your ink could speak, what would it say?I believe it would say look at all these fucking talented artists who don’t get enough appreciation for their work. It still baffles the mind to me that these artists on some busy days have to pull out full works of art 5-6 times. In one day! And even though tattooing has become very mainstream it still seems thankless. I hope in some small part people who see these works and love them gain a better appreciation for the medium.
What would you do with the $25,000?It would go towards a down payment on a home. My husband and I have been together for almost 20 years and never owned a home. This is the world we live in right now. We finally purchased land that we couldn’t be happier about, and this would help tremendously. I mean, of course I’ll sprinkle in a few new rad pieces as well. 😝
