Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My shin tattoo is for my great grandma Louis. The flowers are the birth flowers for September, my birth month and when she passed. Minnehaha was the nickname she gave me, it is etched into the arrow. I was only 12 when she passed but she was always such a light in my life.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

Cherub with Skull: “I am the duality of innocence and mortality. I carry the beauty of life and the shadow of death in my wings." Death head moth: “I am a soul in flight, drawn to the light but born from the dark." (Knees) Forgiveness: “I am the softest strength, the quiet release. With every tear you let fall, I lighten your soul” Freedom: “I do not arrive until you’ve let go—I carry you forward, untethered, unbeaten, alive.”

What would you do with the $25,000?

First, I would pay off my car loan. Next, I would pay off my credit cards that I racked up when I was freshly 18. If anything is leftover after, I would get me and my husband into the dentist as we haven’t been able to go in years.
