Connect What inspired your most recent tattoo?

People ask why I chose a deer skull. To me, it’s survival and growth. The deer is grace and intuition soft, but strong. The skull? Proof I’ve been through hell and came out stronger. The antlers? They shed and regrow, just like I have. This isn’t just ink it’s my story. A symbol of everything I’ve lost, found, and become. I’ve walked through darkness, but I wear it like art.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

If my tattoos could speak, they’d whisper the truth I don’t always say out loud. They’d tell stories of pain I survived, love I lost, strength I found. Each line, a memory. Each symbol, a scar turned sacred. They’d say, “She’s been through it, but look she’s still here.” I wear my past in ink, not to relive it, but to honor it. This isn’t just art it’s my voice when I had none.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000, I’d finally breathe. I’d help my parents pay off bills and ease their stress. I’d support my sister with what she needs to grow. Then I’d invest in myself go back to school, chase the future I’ve dreamed about. This money wouldn’t change who I am, just help me become who I’ve always wanted to be: someone who shows up for family and builds something real for herself.
