What inspired your most recent tattoo?

My most recent piece was inspired by Miyamoto Musashi and The Book of Five Rings. Although Musashi didn’t wear a Menpō (the samurai face mask), I chose to include it as a tribute to the warrior spirit. The mask symbolizes the battles I’ve fought — real, physical, one-on-one fights that could have ended my life. Like Musashi, I emerged victorious. Those experiences forged an unstoppable mindset that continues to drive me forward.

If your ink could speak, what would it say?

If my tattoos could speak, they’d remind me to never give up — to keep pushing, keep striving, and never doubt my ability to overcome, even in the darkest moments. To others, they would say: This soldier has suffered, but he stands unbreakable. His scars speak of pain, but also of resilience, discipline, and survival.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I were given $25,000, the first thing I’d do is secure a down payment on a home — to give my family the stability and safety they deserve. Next, I’d pay off all my wife’s bills to ease her burden. With what’s left, I’d take my family on a well-deserved week-long trip. Traveling with my son is something I’ve dreamed of, but life’s costs make it hard to afford. This opportunity would let me give them an experience they’ll never forget.
