It’s a bad day Not a bad life. Mental health is something I have struggled with for years. Self harm was my outlet. I decided to do a tattoo on myself when all I wanted to do was cut. After the wanting and needing to cut feeling was no longer there. Last year I lost my best friend to suicide. Now my life goal to try to be the person we both needed at our lowest. Im in school to get my degree in Psychology to one day open my own practice and offer Tattoo therapy as a form of harm reduction
If your ink could speak, what would it say?It would tell a story of a girl who struggled daily within herself. The pain felt tears shed and countless nights asking why me. My tattoos aren’t perfect but the meaning behind them is so much more. My tattoos start the conversation and soon I realize I’m not alone. I lost a part of my heart when I lost my best friend. No one should ever have to feel so alone. I want to change that.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would put it towards making sure me and my kids are taken care of so that I can make my vision a reality. Win or lose If just being a part of this competition & my story being heard can help even just one person I did what I was suppose to do in life.
